Privacy Policy

Neobleu is in public beta. This is a draft that hasn’t finished legal review, and it will change before launch. Parts marked [like this] are still to be confirmed.

Last updated: 5 November 2026. This policy explains what personal information Neobleu collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to neobleu.com, the Neobleu apps, Neobleu Work, Neobleu AI, our API and MCP server, and our emails.

Who we are

Neobleu is run by Ryujin Group [ABN], an Australian company ("Neobleu", "we", "us"). We are responsible for your personal information under Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR and other local laws. When you buy Neobleu in the iPhone app, the seller shown by Apple is Xuanyuan Pty Ltd [ABN] [to confirm before release]; it receives purchase information only from Apple.

Contact our privacy team at privacy@neobleu.com [placeholder] or [POSTAL ADDRESS].

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its data.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health, religion or political views. Please don't put it in your profile. If you do, it will be visible to whoever you share it with.

Why we use it

  • To run Neobleu: create your account, show your profile, deliver posts and messages, process applications and payments.
  • To keep Neobleu safe: check age, prevent spam, scams and fake accounts, review reports, and enforce our rules.
  • To personalise: rank your feed, suggest people, companies and opportunities, and show search results.
  • To provide Neobleu AI: answer your questions using the context you choose to share.
  • To communicate: send service emails and notifications, and marketing emails only if you agree (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve Neobleu: measure what works, fix bugs and plan features, mostly with aggregated data.
  • To meet legal duties: tax records, responses to lawful requests, and safety regulators.

Who sees your information

  • Other people on Neobleu. Your profile, posts and company pages are public, including to people who aren't signed in and to search engines unless you turn that off. Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation. Applications are visible to the opportunity's publisher.
  • Organisations you work with. If you join a Neobleu Work workspace, its admins can see what you store there.
  • Service providers who process data for us under contract (below).
  • Authorities when the law requires it. See the Law Enforcement and Transparency page.
  • A buyer if Neobleu is sold or merged, under the same protections.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. Neobleu has no ads at launch.

When information goes overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient protects it as Australian law requires. For people in the EU and UK, we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum) for transfers out of those regions.

Neobleu AI

  • Neobleu AI uses only the context you choose: your profile, the post or opportunity you're viewing, and, if you connect it, your Neobleu Work data.
  • Your questions and answers are stored in your history so you can return to them. You can delete them at any time.
  • We don't use your private messages, Work data or AI conversations to train AI models. Our AI provider doesn't train on them either. If we ever want to, we will ask first, and it will be off unless you turn it on.
  • When @neobleu answers in public, it uses only public information and says where its answer came from.

Automated decisions

Some decisions are made wholly or mostly by computer:

Decision Information used Can a person review it?
Matching and ranking opportunities, people and posts Profile, skills, activity, location, opportunity details Yes: tell us and we'll explain why you see what you see
Spam, scam and harmful content detection Content, account age, report history, behaviour patterns Yes: every removal or restriction can be appealed to a person
Age estimation A selfie, if you choose that method Yes: you can use another method or ask for review
Usage limits and fraud checks on payments Usage, payment signals Yes: contact support

None of these decisions decide whether you get a job. Publishers make their own choices about applicants.

Age checks

Neobleu is for people 18 and over. We check age with the confirmed age from your phone (Apple or Google), a selfie age estimate, an ID document or your bank (ConnectID, in Australia). You choose the method, and an ID is never the only option. We keep only that you are 18 or over, the method used and the date. Selfies and ID images are deleted as soon as the check is done and are never used for anything else.

Neobleu Work

When an organisation uses Neobleu Work, it decides what goes into its workspace, such as contacts, deals and emails. We process that data on the organisation's behalf, as its service provider. If your details are in someone's workspace and you want them changed or removed, contact that organisation first. We will help if they don't respond. Work data stays inside the workspace. Nothing moves to the public network unless a member chooses to share it.
